Starting with Tempstar in 1997, Mike served as an Office Manager, Regional Manager, and Vice President before becoming the company’s owner and CEO. He finds great satisfaction in pairing up south central Pennsylvania’s job seekers with employers with great jobs. Mike is happily married with four children (three boys and one girl) and loves golf, Philadelphia sports teams and cars.

Rich has worn many hats in his many years with Tempstar: Payroll Clerk, Staffing Specialist, Office Manager, and now, CFO. Rich served in the US Navy and was an accountant for the Pennsylvania State Employees’ Retirement System. Making the perfect match between client and employee makes Rich’s day! Rich is married, no children and likes to play poker, camping, guns and target shooting and geocaching – sometimes all at the same time! – when he’s not keeping Tempstar’s books balanced.
CHRISTINE JONES
RISK MANAGER
Division: 27 Years at Tempstar
Christine has been working for Tempstar Staffing for the last twenty-seven years after serving for fourteen years in a supervisory role at a manufacturing company. Christine’s long career with Tempstar began with an interview for a supervisory position for a different company affiliated with Tempstar. She made a distinct impression and was called back for a second interview within a few hours, and she was hired at Tempstar shortly after. She has worked as Tempstar Hanover’s Branch Manager and became Tempstar Staffing’s Risk Manager in early 2018.
Christine enjoys her work at Tempstar and in the staffing industry. She values meeting new people and helping others achieve their career goals, as well as assisting companies with their staffing needs and placing the right people in those positions.
In her spare time, Christine enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with her grandson.
CORY MYERS
REGIONAL MANAGER (LANCASTER)
Division: 15 Years at Tempstar
Cory started with Tempstar Staffing in 2010 as a Staffing Specialist for the York Office. In Cory’s first 2 years with the company, he shined bright as he demonstrated leadership strengths and a proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities in an ever changing, fast-paced environment. In 2012 Cory was promoted to Manager of the Lancaster Branch, and in 2018, he was promoted to Regional Manager.
Cory continually strives to find the best possible candidate for every position and situation. When working with Cory as a client or a temporary employee, you can see and feel that he genuinely cares as he goes above and beyond to meet and exceed expectations. What really makes Cory tick? Getting a chance to make a significant impact in the local community/economy; building and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective clients; helping others find gainful employment; and having the privilege to work side-by-side a devoted and hardworking staff.

MARCIE MARROS
REGIONAL MANAGER (YORK & HANOVER)

Marcie has given 26 years of devoted service to candidates and clients in York, PA and has been in the staffing industry for 31 years. Prior to becoming Regional Manager, she was Branch Manager of the York office, Assistant Manager, and Staffing Specialist.
In her other lives, she was a receptionist, waitress and volleyball coach.
Her long tenure at TSS has allowed her to be more connected within the community. More than just knowing who is hiring, firing, opening and closing, she has learned about the types of people who live here, the struggles they have in their lives, the organizations that support these people and so much more.
Marcie is married, and mother to three children. She has three grandchildren. When not busy with her family, she enjoys being around the water (fishing, water skiing, kayaking, you name it). She also loves reading, landscaping, golf and just about anything outdoors.
SARENA TREAT
READING BRANCH MANAGER
Division: 22 Years at Tempstar
Sarena has been devoted to helping clients and candidates at the Reading, PA branch find better employees and better positions since 2003. She began her employment as a Staffing Specialist and was promoted in 2010 to the Reading Branch Manager. Sarena is a graduate of Lycoming College and has been working in customer service since she was 14 years old. She appreciates the fast-paced nature of the staffing industry and is extremely committed to the staff and clients.
In her spare time, Sarena enjoys going to the beach, reading, exercising and spending time with her family, dogs and friends.
Evan Brubaker
OFFICE MANAGER - OFFICEforce
Division: 6 Years at Tempstar
A graduate from Adelphi University, Evan started his career in NYC in the theatre industry, where he remained until 2019. Wanting to return to his roots, he came back to PA and found work at Tempstar Staffing as an Industrial Recruiter. Over time, Evan moved to OFFICEforce as a recruiter and was later promoted to Office Manager.
In his off-time, Evan loves travelling to new places with his wife, hiking, and enjoying new experiences (concerts, museums, adventures, you name it!). When on the job, he greatly enjoys collaborating with the entire Tempstar Team and loves bringing excellent candidates and companies together.
Heather Werner
PAYROLL SPECIALIST
Division: 15 Years at Tempstar
Heather started with Tempstar Staffing in 2010 as a Staffing Specialist for the York office. After spending a little over a year in that role, she transitioned into the back office as a Payroll Specialist. Known for her attention to detail and strong organizational skills, she brings dedication and reliability to every aspect of her work.
In her spare time, Heather enjoys reading, working out, running, and hiking. She also loves traveling and exploring new places with her husband and their 2 golden retrievers.
Meredith Campisi
PAYROLL COORDINATOR
Division: 4 Years at Tempstar
Meredith Campisi has been a dedicated Payroll Coordinator with Tempstar Staffing since 2021. Known for her professionalism, multitasking abilities, and friendly demeanor, she thrives in roles that allow her to connect with others and offer support. Before joining Tempstar, Meredith built a strong foundation in the real estate industry as a Marketing Coordinator and Inside Sales Coordinator. She brings positivity to every situation, always looking for the silver lining and doing it all with a smile.
Outside of work, Meredith is passionate about her faith and giving back to the community. She finds joy in making a positive impact wherever she can. At home, she loves spending time with her husband, their three boys, and the family dog. She enjoys learning new things, reading, long walks, soaking in nature (especially at the beach), and sharing plenty of laughs along the way.
JACOB GIAMBALVO
CONTENT & SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST

Jacob began working for Tempstar Staffing as Content & Social Media Specialist in 2016. Since then, he’s expanded Tempstar’s reach across social media, taking the brand from just Facebook to platforms like X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
Jacob loves making others laugh and keep them informed with industry trends through blog posts and shares. He also loves working with the Tempstar team to bring fun, engaging content to social media.
Jacob spends his time outside of work relaxing with his wife and two dogs, reading a book, writing a new story, or unwinding with a video game.
Candace Mekins
STAFFING SPECIALIST - HANOVER
Division: 7 Years at Tempstar
Candace is a Staffing Specialist for the Hanover office, where she has been helping connect job seekers with the right opportunities since 2018. A graduate from Shippensburg University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Candace brings strong organizational skills, reliability, and a keen attention to detail to her role.
She thrives on building relationships — both with candidates seeking meaningful employment and with clients working to meet their staffing needs. Known for her upbeat personality and strong customer service skills, Candace is passionate about making a positive impact through her work.
Outside of the office, she enjoys reading, cooking, relaxing on the boat, fishing, and spending quality time with her fiancé and their two cats, Nala and Nattie.
Josh Childers

Josh Childers is a Staffing Specialist at Tempstar Staffing’s Hanover office, where he has been connecting job seekers with rewarding opportunities since 2021. He attended Georgia Southern University and Ferrum College from where he holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science. He brings a strong background in customer service and communication to his job at Tempstar.
Known for his calm and collected demeanor, Josh takes pride in helping candidates find the right fit while building trusted relationships with clients to ensure their staffing needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Originally from the metro Atlanta area, Josh relocated to Pennsylvania in 2011 where he now resides with his wife and three children. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf, grilling, and staying active with his kids’ sports schedules.
